We offer three simple styles of fabric or card shades, in a variety of sizes whose elegant yet modern proportions we believe best fit the Ilala ethos:

We offer the choice of plain black card, rich velvets and rustic linens in our characteristic earthy palette. Since our shades are not gathered or pleated, our fabric shades are laminated. In our humble opinion, lining the shades with a gentle gold paper, brings a softness to the glow.
As each gourd is unique it is hard to specify which shade best suits which base, therefore a visit to our London or Somerset showroom is recommended or, where possible, a site visit can be arranged at a mutually convenient time.
