Pink is SO last year (apparently) but to create a scheme which has a timeless feel is essential if you are redecorating. I am not into schemes that follow trends. The word ‘trend’ suggests transience and the need to redecorate every time a new ‘trend’ comes along. What’s the point? How stressful!
You just need a good vibe for something that is going to last.
As I was walking past a cluster of bottles of nail varnish on my shelf, it struck me what a soothing, timeless little trio this was. The colours together made me want to investigate further and I started to notice this combination everywhere, from estate agent’s windows to national galleries and country houses.
